I'm really excited to be taking part in this After School Club: The WonderPhil Magic Lab, a fantastic program being offered by the library.

This free, interactive online club gives kids a chance to explore the world of magic in a fun, creative, and welcoming way.  I’ll guide participants through real magic tricks they can learn and perform themselves — using simple, everyday household items. No fancy props required, just curiosity and imagination.

What I love about this program is that it’s not just about watching magic — it’s about doing it. Kids get to ask questions, try things out, and discover how magic works step by step. Along the way, they build confidence, problem-solving skills, and a sense of pride when they’re able to perform a trick successfully on their own.

I’m grateful to the library for putting this program together and inviting me to be part of it. Libraries do such an amazing job creating opportunities for kids to learn and explore outside of school, and it’s a real pleasure to contribute something creative and playful to that mission.
